Porter & Luke's opened in January 2013. That same year we were recognized by New Orleans food critic Tom Fitzmorris as one of the city’s top 10 new restaurants. Since then, we have been featured on an episode of Flip My Food with Chef Jeff, which airs on Fox. The episode featured our delicious red beans and rice with smoked ham shank. Tom Fitzmorris has also ranked us as one of the dozen best restaurants to get fried chicken. Every year, we participate in the National Fried Chicken Festival now in Woldenberg Park.
